Quaker House Quail is located in the small village of West Rounton on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors. It was the passion for falconry, fine food, and the love of the countryside which inspired the proprietors Jo and Tim to form Quaker House quail.

Quaker House Quail originally started breeding Quail to supplement the feeding requirements of Tim's birds of prey. The Japanese quail were originally chosen by Tim as a food supplement for his birds since they are high in protein, and low in cholesterol, this makes them the perfect requirement for a healthy diet. However we were soon receiving orders from local restaurants, country pubs and members of the community to provide Quail as a delicacy.

To complete our service we have developed a successful breeding programme, offering hens for egg production and breeding.

This diversity has allowed Quaker House Quail to cater for a wide range of customers from the restaurant owner to Falconers and others, such as the local well known Gun Dog Trainer Les Dixon of Mount Grace gundogs who uses some of our produce for flush training.

Quaker House Quail has quickly established itself with a strong reputation for supplying quality Quail at a very competitive price.

We welcome orders from both commercial and private customers, and can supply both large and small orders.
